Advising Contributes to ISU's Mission Contributions of Advising has recently been prepared by the University Academic Advising Committee and submitted to administrative groups considering budgets and academic programs. This paper highlights the contributions of advising to the core mission of Iowa State and provides measureable data which supports these contributions. 		The ISU CELT Library has 20+ books, monographs, pocket guides, DVDs and CDs on advising topics that can be checked out for two weeks. Recommended: “Scenes for Learning and Reflection: An Academic Advising Professional Development DVD” – includes 10 vignettes with advising scenarios.
