This committee oversees advising, offers information, activities and programs that improve advising and counsels the Provost regarding issues of interest and concern to advisers.


The University Academic Advising Committee meets once a month throughout the academic year.  Meetings are open to all advisers at ISU. 


Chair:  co-chairs will be appointed by the Provost’s Office.  One faculty and one staff adviser will serve for a staggered two-year term. 

Members:  Committee members will be appointed by their respective college or academic unit and will serve a one-year term.  Reappointment to this committee is possible.   Committee members represent the following areas:
