Interesting Statistics
Students come from every county in Iowa, every state in the country, and from more than 100 foreign countries. A total of 3,424 international students enrolled at Iowa State in fall 2011, comprising 12% of the total enrollment. Of the total number of students enrolled in fall 2011, 13,113 (44%) were women and 16,774 (56%) were men. Of undergraduate students, 44% were women, while 71% of professional students were women and 42% of graduate students were women. |
