The Office of the Registrar has a process to apply IP credit for veterans who have served 3 months or more of military service outside the U.S. (See full policy detail at the end of this message.) Veterans should present their DD214 to the certified veterans official in the Office of the Registrar, 214 Enrollment Services Center. After reviewing the military service requirement, the official will update the screen in ADIN so that the requirement shows as completed on the degree audit. This information will be sent to enrolled veterans via e-mail; posted on the International Perspectives and veterans websites; and added to the catalog for 11-12. Policy DetailThe International Perspective requirement shall be waived for U.S. military veterans who have completed at least 3 months of service stationed outside of the United States. (Approved by the Faculty Senate Curriculum Committee, Academic Standards and Admissions Committee, Academic Affairs Council and Executive Board of the Faculty Senate.) |
