Tuition Assessment

Winter session tuition is assessed in addition to the tuition and mandatory fee assessment a student would be charged for their spring course credits. Refer to the spring tuition and fee table above for assessment rates. A student who enrolls in both winter and spring coursework will be assessed tuition for the winter session (based on the winter session tuition chart) and for the tuition and mandatory fees of their spring course credits (based on the spring tuition and fee chart).

  • Example 1: If a student enrolls in a 3 credit hour winter session course and 9 credit hours of spring coursework, the student will be assessed 9 credits of spring 2026 tuition and mandatory fees plus the winter session tuition for a 3 credit course.
  • Example 2: If a student enrolls in a 3 credit hour winter session course and 12 credit hours of spring coursework, the student will be assessed 12 credits of spring 2026 tuition and mandatory fees plus the winter session tuition for a 3 credit course.

Enrollment Certification and Financial Aid Eligibility

For enrollment certification and financial aid eligibility purposes, total credit hours from a student's winter session course load and upcoming spring course load will determine their status. Financial aid disbursement for winter session and spring will begin on January 15, 2026. The winter session and spring university bill is due on January 20.

  • Example: If a student enrolls in 3 credit hours of winter session coursework and 9 credit hours of spring coursework, the student will be considered full-time for enrollment certification and financial aid eligibility purposes.
