Administrative Schedule Change Form Tutorial

Step 1: The administrator will click the link to the Schedule Change Form, which can be found in AccessPlus --> Faculty/Advisor Tab --> Registrar Forms.

Step 2: The administrator will enter their ISU email address via the Microsoft login. Once entered, administrators will be prompted to OKTA into the form.

Step 3: Enter the student's demographic and academic information.

Step 4: Enter the student's schedule change information.

(Additional questions will appear regarding a new section or new credit hour amount if you chose to perform a section change or credit hour change).

Step 5: Enter the student's second schedule change information, if any.

(Additional questions will appear regarding a new section or new credit hour amount if you chose to perform a section change or credit hour change).

Step 6: Select if the student is an athlete or not. If the student is an athlete, the athletic advisor will be included in the approval process. If the student is not an athlete, the request will go directly to the Office of the Registrar for processing.

Step 7: Select who is filling out, signing, and submitting the schedule change form. If a college administrator is filling out this form, they will be asked another question regarding additonal drops and effective date, but it is not required to be answered. Comments are also optional, but they will appear on the final form if entered.

Step 8: If the administrator has another schedule change to submit, they can click the "submit another response" link.

Step 9: If the schedule change form is for a student-athlete, the form will first route to the athletic advisor for approval. The athletic advisor can then approve or deny the schedule change request via their email. If the schedule change request has been approved, it will move on to the Office of the Registrar. If the schedule change is denied, the student will receive an email indicating their schedule change has been denied and who to contact for more information.

(Athletic advisors will have 7 days to respond to schedule change requests before they time out. If the request times out, the student will be notified to contact their athletic advisor or fill out another request.)

Step 10: If the schedule change form was successfully submitted and approved, the student will receive an email from the Office of the Registrar indicating their schedule change will be available to view in AccessPlus within 1-2 business days.

If the schedule change was denied by the athletic advisor (student-athletes only), the student will receive an email from the Office of the Registrar indicating their schedule change has been denied, and who to contact for further information.

Step 11: Once the approved schedule change(s) has been submitted, the final form will come to the Office of the Registrar for processing. The student will be able to see the changes in AccessPlus in 1-2 business days.
